KS3

At Winchmore we follow the Key Stage 3 National Numeracy Strategy Framework for teaching Mathematics in years 7, 8 and 9.

KS4

In Key Stage 4 pupils follow the    Edexcel 2 Tier Linear Course. This year we will also be offering the Edexcel GCSE Statistics Course in addition to the normal curriculum.

Important Dates

KS3 Tests

Years 7 - 9 have a test at the end of each half term, testing work covered during the time. Revision topics are provided. Students who show progress are given the opportunity to move maths sets at this time.

KS4 Tests

Year 10 will be tested every 6 weeks on work covered during the time. Students have the opportunity to move sets after each test.

Year 11 have a test in October and then have the Mocks at the end of the Autumn Term.
