The aim of the Careers and Library Services is to support the educational work and personal development of our 6th Form students and provide an appropriate learning environment.

The service provides quiet areas for

  • Homework, study and revision
  • Independent reading

ENTERPRISE ADVISER 

 

Volunteered to be become an EA in November 2019, after seeing the role advertised via my professional body, the Chartered Institute for Personnel & Development. As an EA my primary role is to ‘advise and support the Senior leaders of Winchmore School to develop their career strategy and to help young people understand the skills they will require for the world of work.’

My background is in HR, with a specialism/ special interest in Recruitment & Selection,  Diversity and Inclusion, Retention and Apprenticeships. I have a Masters in Human Resource Management and am also an Associate Member of the British Psychological Society.

I Have previously volunteered as a Brownie Guider and have been a Trustee for a national children’s charity.

Until March 2022, I was the Head of Recruitment at the London Ambulance Service and from 1st April 2022 I will be joining NHS England & Improvement as an International  Recruitment Advisor. 

I have enjoyed working with Winchmore School and look forward to an exciting year jam packed with activities promoting careers in and outside of healthcare/ NHS.
