I volunteered to become an EA in November 2019, after seeing the role advertised via my professional body, the Chartered Institute for Personnel & Development. As an EA my primary role is to ‘advise and support the Senior leaders of Winchmore School to develop their career strategy and to help young people understand the skills they will require for the world of work.’

My background is in HR, with a specialism/ special interest in Recruitment & Selection,  Diversity and Inclusion, Retention and Apprenticeships. I have a Masters in Human Resource Management and am also an Associate Member of the British Psychological Society. I have previously volunteered as a Brownie Guider and have been a Trustee for a national children’s charity.

I have spent 15 years in a range of senior roles within the NHS, including, Head of Recruitment at the London Ambulance Service and International Recruitment Advisor at NHS England. I have spent the last two years working as a contract in a range of HR Specialist roles within the public and civil service.
